One Turbo - Many Applications

The PillAerator can be installed in many applications; basically everywhere where atmospheric process air is needed on a constant pressure level. Originally developed for the waste water treatment, the PillAerator is now successfully installed in several industries and applications.

Waste Water Treatment

Within the waste water treatment, the PillAerator supplies the air for the aeration tanks where microbes dissolve organic pollutions. Whether the process is intermittent or controlled via an external set/actual value like oxygen content, the PillAerator meets the plant demands.

Aerobic Fermentation

Some microbes such as yeast proliferate via aerobic fermentation, in industrial processes usually in high silos. In the course of the process the demand for pressure and volume flow increases continuously. Which is why the PillAerator is ideal for this process: the continuous speed control adapts the air supply correspondingly to the process demand.

Flue Gas Desulfurization

Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) is a process to remove sulfur dioxide from exhaust flue gases of power plants using fossil-fuels. There are several methods, one is using a wet scrubbing with lime slurry and forced oxidation to produce gypsum.
